General Terms and Conditions
Effective from: 01.02.2026
These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all business relations concluded via the online store www.whatislaska.com and define the rights and obligations between the buyer and the seller. By submitting or placing an order, the buyer confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
I. General Provisions
These Terms apply to all purchase contracts concluded through the online store www.whatislaska.com.
II. Definitions
Buyer
A natural or legal person who submits an order after self-authorization. The buyer acts as the proposer of the purchase contract.

Order
A completed order submitted via the Website or by email, containing buyer identification data, selected goods, and the total price. A phone order confirmed by email within 24 hours is also considered valid.
Purchase Contract
A contract concluded upon confirmation of the order by the seller via email or phone.
Goods
All products offered in the online store www.whatislaska.com. Prices are listed without VAT.
III. Orders and Conclusion of Contract
- All orders placed through www.whatislaska.com are binding.
- Orders must include:
- full name
- delivery address
- type, quantity, and price of goods
- phone number and email address
- The buyer is responsible for providing complete and accurate information.
- Orders are confirmed by email. Any errors must be reported immediately.
- The seller issues an electronic invoice in PDF format, which also serves as a delivery and warranty document.
IV. Order Cancellation
- Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours by email or phone.
- The cancellation must include:
- buyer's name
- order number
- email address
- description of goods
- No cancellation fees apply.
- If payment has already been made, the amount will be refunded within 14 working days, unless otherwise agreed.
- Orders may only be cancelled before shipment.
- The seller reserves the right to cancel an order due to stock depletion or product unavailability.
V. Payment Terms
- Payment details are sent to the buyer by email after order confirmation.
- Payment options within Slovakia:
- Cash on delivery via Slovenska Posta, Packeta, or listed couriers (excluding courier within Bratislava)
- Online payments via cards (Visa, MasterCard) and systems such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Revolut Pay
- Bank transfer in advance

- Orders unpaid within 14 days are automatically cancelled.
- Prices are final and stated without VAT.
- For bank transfers, payment is deemed completed once funds are credited to the seller's account.
Online card payments are processed securely via third-party payment service providers. The seller does not store, process, or have access to full payment card details.
In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, the buyer is encouraged to contact the seller first in order to resolve the matter amicably.
VI. Delivery Terms
- Orders are usually dispatched within 6 working days, maximum 8 working days.
- Delays caused by demand or production issues will be communicated.
- Ownership of the goods transfers to the buyer upon receipt, provided full payment has been made.
- Delivery is considered complete once the package is received from the carrier.

- Slovenska Posta: €4.60 / Free over €89
- Bank transfer: Free
- Cash on delivery: €1
- Delivery time: 1–5 working days
- Packeta (Zásielkovňa): €3.60 in Slovakia
- Packeta (Zásielkovňa): €4.50 in Czech Republic
- Packeta (Zásielkovňa): Free over €89
- Courier within Bratislava: Free, delivery within 2 days (including weekends and holidays)
For international delivery, shipping prices follow Slovenska Posta's international rates.
VII. Warranty and Claims
- Goods must be inspected immediately upon receipt.
- Obvious defects must be reported no later than the following day.
- The electronic invoice (PDF) serves as the warranty document.

Claim Procedure
- Report defects to [email protected], including the order number.
- Goods may be returned only upon request and at the buyer’s expense.
- Replacement goods are sent at the seller’s expense.
- Claims are resolved within 30 days, unless otherwise agreed.
VIII. Exchanges
- Goods may be exchanged for another size (excluding lingerie) within 30 days.
- Exchange shipping costs are borne by the buyer.
- Goods must be unused, undamaged, complete, and in original packaging.
- Exchanges are shipped free of charge using the original delivery method.
IX. Returns and Refunds
- The buyer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days, extended to 30 days at whatislaska.com.
- No handling fees apply.
- Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Refunds are made using the same payment method that was used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with the buyer.
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
X. Personal Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Slovak legislation.

XI. Final Provisions
- Errors in product descriptions, images, or pricing are reserved.
- Products priced at €0.00 are not valid offers.
- Product availability shown on the Website is indicative only.
- The seller reserves the right to amend these Terms without prior notice.
