Terms & Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all business relations concluded via the online store www.whatislaska.com and define the rights and obligations between the buyer and the seller. By placing an order, the buyer confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

I. General Provisions

These Terms apply to all purchase contracts concluded through the online store www.whatislaska.com.

II. Definitions

Buyer

A natural or legal person who submits an order after self-authorization. The buyer acts as the proposer of the purchase contract.

Order

A completed order submitted via the Website or by email, containing buyer identification data, selected goods, and the total price. A phone order confirmed by email within 24 hours is also considered valid.

Purchase Contract

A contract concluded upon confirmation of the order by the seller via email or phone.

Goods

All products offered in the online store www.whatislaska.com. Prices are listed without VAT.

III. Orders and Conclusion of Contract

  • All orders placed through www.whatislaska.com are binding.
  • Orders must include:
    • Full name
    • Delivery address
    • Type, quantity, and price of goods
    • Phone number and email address
  • The buyer is responsible for providing complete and accurate information.
  • Orders are confirmed by email. Any errors must be reported immediately.
  • An electronic invoice (PDF) serves as a delivery and warranty document.

IV. Order Cancellation

  • Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours by email or phone.
  • No cancellation fees apply.
  • If payment has been made, refund is processed within 14 working days.
  • Orders may only be cancelled before shipment.
  • The seller may cancel orders due to stock depletion or unavailability.

V. Payment Terms

  • Payment details are sent by email after order confirmation.
  • Orders unpaid within 14 days are automatically cancelled.
  • Prices are final and stated without VAT.
  • Online payments are processed securely via third-party providers.

VI. Delivery Terms

  • Dispatch: usually within 6 working days (max 8).
  • Ownership transfers upon receipt and full payment.
  • Delivery complete once package is received from carrier.

  • Slovenská Pošta: €4.60 / Free over €89
  • Cash on delivery: €1
  • Packeta Slovakia: €3.60
  • Packeta Czech Republic: €4.50
  • Courier within Bratislava: Free (2 days)

VII. Warranty and Claims

  • Goods must be inspected immediately upon receipt.
  • Obvious defects must be reported no later than the following day.
  • Claims resolved within 30 days.

VIII. Exchanges

  • Exchange possible within 30 days (excluding lingerie).
  • Goods must be unused and in original packaging.
  • Exchange shipping costs borne by buyer.

IX. Returns and Refunds

  • Withdrawal within 14 days (extended to 30 days at whatislaska.com).
  • No handling fees.
  • Refund within 14 days of receiving returned goods.
  • Gift cards are non-refundable.

X. Personal Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Slovak legislation. Detailed information is available in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy on www.whatislaska.com.

XI. Final Provisions

  • Errors in product descriptions, images, or pricing are reserved.
  • Products priced at €0.00 are not valid offers.
  • Availability shown is indicative only.
  • The seller may amend these Terms without prior notice.
